I can’t say any details, but one of my kids had a crisis today. I haven’t tried to hide my identity here, and do not want to reveal his business, so no details. But this was not a good day.

This shit weighs heavy on me. Everyone warns you about the babies and toddlers, but the teens are way harder. Who knows whatever the fuck in this world. Nobody knows shit about anything, including (especially) me.

I remember thinking parenting isn’t as scary once they are born and you can hold them, then it wasn’t as scary once they turned one and slept well, then it wasn’t as scary once they could talk and tell you what they need.. Now they’re little people and it’s still scary.. Teens doesn’t look any easier.
